STOUT CORTEZ STUDIO

 

Small project studio, production-capable to CD level. Work in the last few years includes all of Irregulus and IOU Theatre's pre-processed touring material throughout the nineties, film soundtracks for BBC2 and C4, radio documentaries, video, numerous CDs, situational pieces and much else.

Facilities include:- digital recording/editing/processing (centring on Mac/Cubase), sound transformation including Metasynth, Max/MSP and various IRCAM-ware, ADAT, CD-recording/ mastering/printing, the usual studio toys and quite a number of rather less usual sound-sources.

Stout Cortez isn't designed for huge commercial throughput and isn't really suitable for demo-ing aspiring metal bands, but quite a lot of people have had a great deal of fun working here and got some pretty good results.
